Sneha began her legal career as a guardian ad litem attorney in Florida, where she vigorously advocated for the best interests of foster youth.  She then practiced as a parents’ attorney, where successes in reunifying families reinforced her belief that the best way to help children is by strengthening their families.

Immediately before joining the Center on Children and the Law, Sneha worked as an education attorney, ensuring that foster youth with disabilities received free and appropriate public educations. Her desire to make a broader impact on the lives of system-involved youth led her to a staff attorney position at the Center. She regards the opportunity to work every day with people who are dedicated to improving the lives of children as a tremendous blessing.

At the Center, Sneha combines her child welfare knowledge and her passion for education advocacy with her work on the Legal Center for Foster Care and Education. She also works with the Pennsylvania Permanency Barriers Project, assisting child welfare agencies and courts to reduce the amount of time children spend in foster care.
