AFCARS data (local to state)

Local child welfare agencies must ensure case-level information is provided to their state child welfare agencies to comply with AFCARS reporting requirements. This includes certain education-related elements, including a student in foster care’s current level of schooling, their highest grade completed, and whether the student has an IEP or IFSP.
